A short catalog, on purpose

Most tackle shops solve the problem of choice by offering more of it. Forty monofilaments on a page tells you nothing about which one belongs on your reel.

We stock a deliberately small range of fishing line and reels, and we publish the specifications that actually decide a purchase — breaking strain, diameter, spool length, gear ratio, weight. If we cannot explain why something is on the shelf, it comes off the shelf.

Honest stock and honest prices

Stock levels shown are real. If something is sold out, the store says so before you reach payment rather than after, and a sold-out item cannot be added to an order.

Prices are set in Canadian and United States dollars separately, not converted by an exchange rate that moves between the moment you look and the moment you pay. Shipping is shown before payment, not estimated afterwards.

Where we ship

We ship to Canada and the United States. Full rates and delivery estimates are on the shipping page, and what happens when something arrives faulty is on the faulty goods page. Both are written to be read before you need them.
